Letting Go

"Maybe moving on ain't the same as letting go" -Josh Krajcik (One Thing She'll Never Know)
It's early March already and it simply means that I am no longer Floriestyle.com 's February brand ambassador. It's such a shame, but it has been a pleasure and an honor to be Floriestyle's initial ambassador.

Between Raindrops

Bonjour my beloved readers! It's been awhile since the last time I made an outfit post and finally the wait is over.

I don't know why, but I feel that December is the most romantic month of the year. Was it because the rainy season? Or was it because of the memories I had? If you allow me, I'd like to share a piece of my past stories with you..

Lessons Learned

As a social creature, human will never stop learning. Each and every day of their life teaches one at least an important lesson. This September sure is a month to remember and is a wake up call for me.

I've been hurt, disappointed, reproved, and awaken by all the things that had taken place this month. There's a meaningful lesson behind each event and those are to treasure. I had my ups and downs, but I shall never run. Face it gallantly and you'll surely make it through, that's what's important.

Consequently, I now know where I stand. I know my capability, my status, and my character. I made my mistakes and I've also hurt. Therefore, I'd like to ask an apology from all of you whom I've hurt. Je suis desole pour mes fautes.

Stilrod

Are you a fan of unique cafes and currently living in Surabaya? Then Stilrod Cafe is definitely a recommended place to chillax. I'm currently a fan of its margarita and drinks, especially the mocktail sunrise and blackforest. Someone reminded me of how much fat it had, but I didn't care. It was too good to miss.

Visited the place a few of weeks ago with SbyVogue and I finally met the legendary local blogger and broadcaster, Lauretha. She's such a friendly person and her style is undeniably picturesque. Meeting her was such an honor.

Dashed to the cafe right after my class photo shoot, I chose something simple and comfortable to wear. All those exhaustion faded away as I met my close friends in SbyVogue. They're such a joy.

Any recommended spot for us to hangout? Don't hesitate to tweet, chat, or comment on this blog <3

Safe Haven

These pictures were taken months ago, and trust me, I'm not that big anymore. Losing weight and toning have been a joyous activity for me. I do find myself in happiness as I exercise. Ever since school started, my workout schedule had been a mess, especially after SurabayaVogue's first garage sale. I exercise less, but kept the diet on the go.

School and assignments seemed inevitable and as you all know, my high school is no ordinary school. It loves assignments and exams so much that I'm drowned in this sea of books and papers. My first English assignment is to read a novel and I chose "Safe Haven" by Nicholas Sparks.
I don't know about you, but for me, my friends and family are my havens. Their lavishing love and support are just too precious to be traded with anything. In this moment, thanking and honoring them for their aid during the garage sale would be decent. Thanks to SbyVogue members especially Felicia, Malvin, and Theresia for supporting and helping me a lot during the garage sale process. Thanks to my readers for buying our items. Thanks to my family for encouraging me to join the event and all other people I couldn't mention one by one. You are all my dear havens.

Over You

Someone once told me that people change. They say if you can't accept someone as a whole then he's not the one. They say if it's meant to be then it will be. Here I am admitting what they say are true. People change and even if you tried to tolerate them as hard as possible, if he's not for you then you know you should let go. A smart woman will know when to jump in, when to step aside, and when to stop. Here I am stopping to wait on someone.

Born To Win

It's been quite some time since my last outfit post. I've been busy working out, trying to lose weight, and getting ready for camp. Thankfully, I managed to make time for this amazing photo shoot before my departure at Kenichi's home with some other bloggers and am content with the result.

We had this tea party concept and had made me pose in a flirty scene with one of them, such a joke. Most of the pictures were taken candid and of course, it works! So, voila!

Bubble Party

Finally, the night of moustache and bubble had arrived! SurabayaVOGUE together with all the other vendors and of course, CALAiS are very grateful for the amazing grand opening! Our photobooth was a huge success and sure complimented the whole party.

Major thanks to Novi Elisa for the live artisan drawings! They're super hot! Here's a quick shot I took with her and Theresia.

I unexpectedly crashed with some of my friends and we realized there are so many stories that we need to catch up to.

Merci beaucoup Calais, ORE, Clementine, Lullaby, Surabaya Fashion Carnival, et cetera.
Je t'adore!

Distance

It's the season to graduate, watching my beloved ones graduate made me realize that time does fly!  Some will go abroad, or another city, but they will all surely separate. They say, distance won't set hearts apart.  It's my turn next year, wonder if I'll survive the homesickness. Hopefully I could still have the relationship I have now with all of them even if they've gone far.

Momentum

Earlier this morning I was having a physics test. It was on fluids, but then the thought on momentum came across. Theoretically, momentum is the quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity. Some interpret momentum as the timing of a significant change. For me, in fashion, momentum is knowing the right thing to wear, at the right time, in the right place, with the right person.

This shot reflects momentum the most for it needed the photographer's timing skill to capture my move. It sure looks simple, but I had to redo it over and over again.

I matched my tight Topshop leather pants with a loose snake skin print Mango top in order to create the balance between the two. The accessories were the star of the look, gold details sure caught the viewer's attention. Too bad these pictures are only available in black-white version.

Spectacle Premiere

Last night was my friend's birthday party and she lifted the theme "Spectacle Premiere". I came with a friend of mine and took this picture.

Don't you just love the cupcake? I don't feel like harming the flower though.

I was wearing a Greek accentuated one shoulder top by Guess paired with my tailored asymmetric skirt. A pinch of red is always good and I chose my homemade snake skin clutch to complete the look.

The One That Got Away

"So I don't have to say you were the one that got away.. The one that got away.."

A few days ago a friend of mine chat me via BlackBerry Messenger and asked me about this new blog. After giving his brief comments, he asked me why I created another fashion blog. To be honest, this is my second fashion blog and I quit on my previous one because of the hectic school hour and I didn't have the time to blog.

But trust me, this time I won't get away from you since this blog is my baby. I hope you won't got away either.

A Kiss Goodbye

Bonjour fashion people!

I was pretty wild preparing this look since it was one of the looks I chose to be in my presweet photo shoot. The top was quite risky for it was cropped super short and I had to lift the bandage skirt higher to cover my stomach, but afterall, It was worth wearing.

The mixture of green and gold has been my favorite since I saw Cassie's music video. I find my skin tone relates to the mixture pretty well. It might be too safe since it doesn't race with my skin, but it sure does compliment my skin tone and aura. It brings the freshness and sexiness to cloud nine.

Remember, the best color is the one that compliments your look!
