Sequin Queen is back! After almost a year off from blogging world, I thought my name has disappeared from the blogger world. However, it seems like it's my luck that a blogger friend of mine, Lauretha, recommended me to the it fashion store in town, Piazza Italia.

March Events : Kate Spade & London Calling

Finally, the exam week is over! I finally get the chance update my blog again. So there were several fashion events I attended this month. They are Kate Spade Surabaya's grand opening and Sunday Market Surabaya : London Calling.

Essence de L'audace

Essence de L'audace simply means the essence of being bold. Seven young designers who had just graduated from La Salle College Surabaya were pushed to their limit to present bold and out-of-the-box designs in all themes, crossing boundaries. From rodeo, kids, futuristic, to wedding.

Some works were on display in mannequins right in front of the entrance gate, together with some photographs and booths.

The young and talented designers were also given the chance to display their own designs in the themes they personally chose. My friends and I were fans of Gabriel Soegiyono's creations. He rose the theme of Spanish beauty which was stunning and the composure of every aspect in his show was very balanced.

The others rose the theme of architectures, Japanese kimono, skulls, and many more.

All fun and joy credits to my beloved friends : Lukas, Jochris, Feli, Ken, Kezia, Lauretha. Thanks to them, watching this show was such an unforgettable experience.

Stilrod

Are you a fan of unique cafes and currently living in Surabaya? Then Stilrod Cafe is definitely a recommended place to chillax. I'm currently a fan of its margarita and drinks, especially the mocktail sunrise and blackforest. Someone reminded me of how much fat it had, but I didn't care. It was too good to miss.

Visited the place a few of weeks ago with SbyVogue and I finally met the legendary local blogger and broadcaster, Lauretha. She's such a friendly person and her style is undeniably picturesque. Meeting her was such an honor.

Dashed to the cafe right after my class photo shoot, I chose something simple and comfortable to wear. All those exhaustion faded away as I met my close friends in SbyVogue. They're such a joy.

Safe Haven

These pictures were taken months ago, and trust me, I'm not that big anymore. Losing weight and toning have been a joyous activity for me. I do find myself in happiness as I exercise. Ever since school started, my workout schedule had been a mess, especially after SurabayaVogue's first garage sale. I exercise less, but kept the diet on the go.

School and assignments seemed inevitable and as you all know, my high school is no ordinary school. It loves assignments and exams so much that I'm drowned in this sea of books and papers. My first English assignment is to read a novel and I chose "Safe Haven" by Nicholas Sparks. 

I don't know about you, but for me, my friends and family are my havens. Their lavishing love and support are just too precious to be traded with anything. In this moment, thanking and honoring them for their aid during the garage sale would be decent. Thanks to SbyVogue members especially Felicia, Malvin, and Theresia for supporting and helping me a lot during the garage sale process. Thanks to my readers for buying our items. Thanks to my family for encouraging me to join the event and all other people I couldn't mention one by one. You are all my dear havens.

Sunshine Paradise

Readers! I'm back! Finally after an exhausting week at the camp, I lost my voice by the way, I am home and ready to party hard! Two days after my landing in Surabaya, Ore and SurabayaVogue are hosting Havaianas' launching party in Surabaya. They gifted us, bloggers, with pretty flip flops and requested our attendance at the party. Here's a sneak peak at our good times!

Calais are also co-hosting the party and they provided glasses of tropical punch, but there are also sodas, beer, and snacks.

I personally find this event's DJ pretty good, he managed to build the atmosphere and brought out the party spirit inside us.

In other words, I had a major fun time!

Born To Win

It's been quite some time since my last outfit post. I've been busy working out, trying to lose weight, and getting ready for camp. Thankfully, I managed to make time for this amazing photo shoot before my departure at Kenichi's home with some other bloggers and am content with the result.

We had this tea party concept and had made me pose in a flirty scene with one of them, such a joke. Most of the pictures were taken candid and of course, it works! So, voila!

Bubble Party

Finally, the night of moustache and bubble had arrived! SurabayaVOGUE together with all the other vendors and of course, CALAiS are very grateful for the amazing grand opening! Our photobooth was a huge success and sure complimented the whole party.

Major thanks to Novi Elisa for the live artisan drawings! They're super hot! Here's a quick shot I took with her and Theresia.

I unexpectedly crashed with some of my friends and we realized there are so many stories that we need to catch up to.
